Two men are facing drug charges after an alleged drug transaction in Trigg County Tuesday morning.
Cadiz Police were called out to Fred’s Pharmacy on Main Street around 11:30. When officers arrived they reportedly found 45-year old Gregory Watkins of Grand Rivers in possession of multiple unknown narcotics in his vehicle. Police say 65-year old Desi Martin of Princeton was arrested after he received two Valiums from Martin. Officers also found a pipe used for cocaine in Martin’s possession.

Watkins is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), and his second offense driving under the influence on a suspended license. Martin was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified). Both were lodged in the Christian County Jail.
