A man was injured following a single vehicle accident involving a farm animal Monday afternoon north of Herndon.
Christian County Sheriff Sergeant Jeff Goulet says Troy Clere was traveling westbound on Gracey-Herndon Road when he hit a hog standing in the middle of the road. After hitting the animal, Clere lost control of his vehicle which caused it to roll and flip multiple times.
Goulet adds he was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and later flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
