One of the five men injured when a bucket truck crashed into a work area in Clarksville has died at a Nashville hospital. Clarksville Police spokesman Jim Knoll says 43-year old Robert Bartz passed away Thursday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Bartz was flown to the hospital after police say 31-year old Justin Clark was driving a truck on Riverside Drive through a work zone Friday, October 19, when for an unknown reason he collided with a patrol car and then hit two work lifts. Bartz and three other men were on the work lifts. The three men and Clark were taken to area hospitals where they were treated and released.
Once the investigation is completed, Knoll says the District Attorney’s office will be consulted and charges filed as necessary.
