Woman Injured When Vehicle Collides With Deer On I-24

A Hopkinsville woman was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, 61-year old Lillian Greenwade of Hopkinsville was traveling westbound when around the 92-mile marker, about three miles from the Pembroke-Oak Grove exit, deer ran out in front of her and she was unable to avoid hitting it.

Greenwade was transported by ambulance to Tennova Heathcare in Clarksville.
