One man is in police custody in connection to the murder of a Clarksville man and homicide warrants have been issued for two other men.
Clarksville Police Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says 23-year old Cedrick Devaughn Stacker was booked into the Montgomery County Jail around 11:00 Tuesday night and charged with Criminal Homicide in the shooting death of 22-year old Antorious Gallion Monday night. Police are looking for 26-year old Vincent Bryan “Rabbit” Merriweather and 25-year old Marques Lamarr “Cheez” Kelly, who is currently on parole.
Police reported officers responded to the area of Warfield Boulevard and Raleigh Court around 7:40 Monday night and found a vehicle riddled with bullets. Officers said the vehicle had flipped over with three people inside. The driver, Gallion was hit by a bullet and transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville where he died from his injuries. Police said a female passenger in her 20s was transported to the hospital and was treated and released, and the other passenger in his 20s was shaken up but unharmed. The investigation revealed the victims had been involved in an earlier altercation with Stacker, Merriweather and Kelly and the suspects then got into a car and chased and fired multiple rounds at Gallion’s vehicle while he was traveling on Warfield Boulevard.
Anyone with information of Merriweather and Kelly is asked to call the TIPSLINE at (931) 645-8477.
Knoll says both men should be considered armed and dangerous.
