After more than three decades as the Christian County Coroner, Dorris Lamb announced Saturday he is retiring at the end of the month. Lamb says he will retire November 30 due to changes with Kentucky Retirement.
In a release, Lamb says he is truly humbled that God has allowed him to be Coroner for 32 years. He adds he is very blessed and thankful for all of those that have supported him for all these years.
In addition, Lamb thanked everyone that he has served or been in contact with during the times of life and death. He says he has made it a point to serve each of these families with honesty and integrity. For those who have lost loved ones, he says his heart goes out to you and adds they will not be forgotten.
Lamb also thanked everyone for the opportunity to have shared his life with those who have lost loved ones during their greatest time of need.
