A Hopkinsville woman was arrested after she allegedly fired a gun during a dispute with her neighbor on Thanksgiving Day.
Hopkinsville Police report 70-year old Betty Lawless was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment after she got into a dispute with her neighbor over loud music coming from her residence on Colonette Drive around 9:30 Thursday night. The neighbor came into Lawless’ yard to confront her at which time police say Lawless fired a warning shot with her .22 revolver to keep the woman from jumping her.
