A retirement reception for Christian County District Court Judge James Adams, Jr. will be held next month.
Adams was first elected to the court in 1994 and was most recently re-elected by voters in 2010 and 2014. His current four-year term expires on January 6, 2019. Adams announced in November 2017 he would not seek re-election.
Judge Adams also served as vice-chief regional district judge from 2007 to 2015.
The reception is open to the public and will be held at 3:00 Thursday afternoon, December 20 in the Justice Center Rotunda.
