A Tennessee woman was injured when her vehicle slid into a guardrail on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkinsville Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police report the wreck occurred at 4:40 a.m. when 28-year old Valeria Cuesta of Smyrna was driving southbound on the parkway and near the 8-mile marker she lost control of her car due to icy road conditions, causing her vehicle to crash into the guardrail.
Police say Cuesta had a visible injury to her head, but refused transport by ambulance and was by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
