Families, friends, and students will gather Wednesday morning at the newly named Gander Memorial Park to honor the 248 Fort Campbell soldiers killed when their flight crashed in Gander, Newfoundland on December 12, 1985.
Christian County Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Director Lindsey Geraci says they are expecting a large turnout for the 33rd annual wreath-laying ceremony.

In addition, she notes there will be 248 students attending the Gander memorial and singing the National Anthem.

The public is invited to the Wreath Laying Ceremony at 11:30 Wednesday morning at Gander Memorial Park on Fort Campbell Boulevard at Pennyrile Parkway.
