A Hopkinsville teen was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way Wednesday night.
Police report the wreck occurred shortly after 9:00 when 18-year old Travarius Daniel was driving east on the bypass and went to make a right hand turn onto Commerce Court, but ran off the road into a ditch and collided with a chainlink fence. Daniel stated to officers he may have been going to fast but he thought his brakes failed on the car.
Police says Daniel was taken by ambulance to the emergency room at Jennie Stuart Medical Center for complaints of a possible broken nose and knee injury.
