Family, friends, and Christian County residents gathered to thank a long-time coroner Wednesday.
Dorris Lamb, who has been the coroner for 32 years says it was time to focus on his business.
He has seen a lot over his three-decade career.
Lamb says he will not leave the community.
Lamb adds it is a huge honor to have been trusted by Christian County to be elected as coroner and he will continue to operate Lamb Funeral Home on Lafayette Road in Hopkinsville.
