The WKDZ/WHVO People’s Choice Award from the 2018 Hopkinsville Christmas Parade was handed out Tuesday afternoon.
Heritage Bank was the winner of the award, Commercial Loan Administrative Assistant Megan Schuett tells the News Edge their float was based off a famous Christmas movie.
Market President Betsy Shelton adds Heritage Bank will donate the $500 reward to charity next year.
WKDZ/WHVO Digital Revenue Coach Becky Williamson says the award was voted on by the parade audience.
According to Pam Rudd, Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Programs Coordinator, this year’s parade was fantastic.
Rudd adds they should be announcing the 2019 Christmas Parade theme after the first of the new year.
