Students at South Todd Elementary School gathered items to donate to charity instead of exchanging Christmas presents this year.
According to the Todd County School District, 4th-grade students collected hygiene items for Grace and Mercy in Hopkinsville. Around $600 worth of items were collected and will soon be delivered to the women at the facility.
