A mainstay in Caldwell County sports is joining Ham Broadcasting to bring more sports coverage to the area.
President and General Manager Beth Mann announced during Thursday morning’s Sideline Report that Todd Griffin, former sports writer for the Times Leader, is joining the Edge Media Group team. The Sideline Report is a show Todd began at WPKY last year.
Beth thanked Todd for his service with the Times Leader and she says she is looking forward to what he’ll bring to the Ham Broadcasting team.

Beth says that the decision to bring Todd on board is a positive thing for the county and that striving to serve the community will always bring success.

Todd says that he is excited about where this will lead, even if it’s bittersweet after serving with the Times for just under 24 years. He assured the citizens of Caldwell County that while he’ll no longer be at the paper, the coverage he provides won’t change.

He says the decision is tough, leaving a job after being there so long, but he’s fired up and ready for his next chapter.Todd, who will be continuing his show, the Sideline Report every Thursday at 8 AM, will also be providing sports coverage for Caldwell County for WPKY and yoursportsedge.com starting in the new year.
