The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Wind Advisory in effect from early Thursday morning through early Friday morning.
Forecasters say we will see sustained winds from 20 to 25 mph with occasional gusts up to 40 mph possible from 3:00 AM Thursday to 3:00 AM Friday. Gusty winds can cause tree and branch damage and cause loose outdoor objects to be blown around. Vehicular traffic, especially for high profile vehicles, will experience some difficulties.
A wind advisory is issued when sustained winds are expected to reach 30 mph or greater for longer than one hour or wind gusts are expected to reach 40 mph for any period of time.
