A restaurant in southern Christian County is being featured on a Tennessee television channel this weekend.
The Brick Oven Grill and Deli in the small community of Lafayette recently hosted the crew from the Tennessee Crossroads show. The show airs on Nashville Public Television and Brick Oven owner Becky Nichols tells the News Edge the film crew was at the restaurant toward the end of October.
Nichols says the building is a huge part of Lafayette’s history.
She adds that all changed when the Fort Campbell military base opened on July 1, 1942.
The restaurant recently changed names to the Brick Oven but not for the reason many people think.
Nichols says the restaurant will have new operating hours after the New Year.
The Brick Oven Grill and Deli is located at 124 South Main Street in Lafayette. The show first aired Thursday evening at 7:00 and will re-air Sunday morning at 10:00.
