A Hopkinsville man was arrested following a single vehicle accident Sunday afternoon.
The Hopkinsville Police Department reports they received a call of a possible DUI driver near the intersection of Interstate 24 and Fort Campbell Boulevard. As officers were heading to the area, they found 30-year old Charles Motley driving northbound on the boulevard. He reportedly swerved into the median and then traveled back across the northbound lanes, striking a tree and coming to rest against another tree.
Motley was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries and then taken to Christian County Jail. He is facing his third charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence and his second charge of driving under the influence on a suspended license.
