Carlisle Man Appointed As Fish And Wildlife Commissioner

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife named a new Commissioner Monday afternoon.

The Department of Fish and Wildlife report Rich Storm of Carlisle was appointed as the new Commissioner, replacing Frank Jemley of Louisville who has served as the agency’s acting Commissioner since March 2018. Storm joined the Fish and Wildlife Commission in August 2016, as the eighth district representative and in September 2018 Storm was elected to serve as the chairman of the nine-member commission.

Storm earned his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from Morehead State University and is an avid sportsman, a farmer, and is the General Manager of PICI Staffing. He lives in Carlisle with his wife Heather and their two daughters.
