A Hopkinsville woman was arrested on a robbery charge after allegedly trying to steal from the Piggly Wiggly on North Main Street Sunday night.
According to a Hopkinsville Police report, 53-year old Catherine Williams used physical force against an employee to try and steal three sirloin tip roasts valued at over $40. The employee reportedly suffered minor injuries.
Williams was charged with 1st-degree robbery and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
