A man was charged with trafficking drugs in Caldwell County last week.
Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force Detective Mike Lantrip reported 66-year old Jessee Noble Slaton, Jr. was charged with trafficking marijuana (> 5 pounds) after a buy and bust operation on West Washington Street Friday afternoon.
Lantrip says detectives with the Princeton Police Department apprehended Slaton when he was attempting to deliver a half pound of marijuana to a Princeton residence. Detectives went to Slaton’s residence to follow up and reportedly seized approximately 50 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
