During a pretrial conference Wednesday afternoon, the trial was delayed for a former Christian County Sheriff’s deputy accused of stealing from a juvenile services agency.
Steve Tucker, who is charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $10,000 but less than $1 million, was set to go to trial February 4, but court officials say Judge Andrew Self granted a slight delay and rescheduled the trial to begin February 14 in Christian Circuit Court.
Tucker was arrested February 9, 2018, after being indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury on the theft charge. Kentucky State Police allege Tucker stole $55,000 from the Christian County Juvenile Services Foundation when he served as the president.
