A fire on Heltsley Road in Todd County destroyed a home Tuesday afternoon.
According to Todd County Deputies, a mother and her son were home at the time of the fire but were able to get out safely.
The occupants noticed smoke in a back room before getting out of the home but the cause of the fire remains unknown, deputies said.
