The United Way of the Pennyrile will be able to fully fund all twenty agencies after the Dynamic Duo and You campaign. The campaign total was announced by co-chairs Chris Gilkey and Russ Guffey during the annual celebration dinner Thursday at the Bruce Convention Center.
Guffey said last minute fundraising efforts helped push the total to $767,356.
Gilkey noted they set a lofty goal, but added last week they realized the campaign was still running short.
