Hopkinsville Pastor Shares Dr. MLK’s Legacy

Students and community members gathered Tuesday morning to learn more about the importance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his legacy.

College Assistant Director/Transfer Coordinator for Student Support Services, Minister Aaron Pettus says it is important to make a positive difference in the lives of people we come into contact with daily.

While things have gotten better, there is still room for lots of improvement, according to Pettus.

He adds we should continue to remember Dr. King by continuing to make his dreams a reality.

Pettus is the Pastor of Foston Chapel Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. themed breakfast was held in the Auditorium Building on the campus of Hopkinsville Community College.
