A traffic stop on Pennyrile Parkway led to multiple drug charges Monday.
According to a Hopkinsville Police report, 21-year-old Shaveon Richardson was stopped on Pennyrile Parkway for speeding and a K9 alerted on the vehicle, police found over a pound of marijuana in the vehicle.
A juvenile was also reportedly in the vehicle along with a digital scale and a handgun with restricted ammunition.
Richardson is charged with speeding 8 MPH over the limit, trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, using restricted ammunition during a felony and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
