2 Teens Remain In Nashville Hospitals After Todd County Wreck

Two teens that were injured in a wreck involving a tractor-trailer on Kentucky 181 in Todd County Tuesday night remain in Nashville hospitals Wednesday morning.

According to Todd County Sheriff Tracy White, 16-year-old Waylon Sears of Guthrie was eastbound on Kentucky 848, when he got to the intersection of Kentucky 181 he failed to stop and pulled into the path of a tractor-trailer driven by 60-year-old William Gresham of Elkton.

According to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Sears who was taken by helicopter to the hospital remains in very critical condition and according to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the passenger in the truck 17-year-old Ethan Chastin of Trenton who was taken by ambulance to Tennova in Clarksville and later taken to Skyline Medical Center was is surgery Wednesday morning and his status is unknown.

Gresham was not injured in the wreck.
