A kitchen fire damaged a Greenville Road home late Thursday night.
Highland Fire Department Deputy Chief Doug Chilton told the News Edge at the scene a woman staying in the home was able to get out safely and will be staying with family now.
The home is located behind Daugherty Auto Sales on Greenville Road.
