Authorities are looking for a man who was driving a stolen vehicle and ran over a 59-year old woman in Clarksville Thursday morning.
Clarksville Police Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says a red 2008 Dodge Mega Cab 4×4 pickup truck (TN Tag 53H1822) was stolen from a farm property at 501 Dunlop Lane between Wednesday and Thursday. Around 10:40 Wednesday morning, the white male was refueling the truck at the Kroger’s gas pump located at 2100 Lowe’s Drive when there was a verbal altercation between the attendant and the man. When the man left the gas pumps, police say he hit the woman’s leg and hip with the vehicle near the pumps and fled the scene.
Knoll indicates the woman was conscious and talking when she was transported by ambulance to Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville.
