Police have released more information about a wreck on Pembroke Road in the area of Eagle Way Thursday.
Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Ceasar Sierra said 54-year-old Lisa Walker of Hopkinsville was southbound when she slowed down and changed lanes for another vehicle that had broken down and was being pushed out of the road, a truck behind her driven by 40-year-old James Major of Hopkinsville hit her SUV.
Walker and her passenger 57-year-old Terry Walker were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.
