The Trigg County Hospital Board of Trustees learned about a small staff change that is coming to Trigg County Primary Care that could save the hospital money during their meeting Thursday evening.
Hospital CEO John Sumner told members that Primary Care Clinic Manager Mark Strickland will be leaving next week.
He adds those staff changes could save the hospital thousands of dollars.
Sumner reports that AR days within the hospital continue to improve, with work being done to improve them at the Primary Care Clinic. Sumner thanks Hope Jessup for all the work she has done to improve the gap.
AR days are the average number of days between when a service is completed and when the hospital receives the money.
In other business, CFO Don Michaels presented the January financial report. He says the hospital did well for the month.
The Trigg County Hospital Board of Trustees will meet again on Thursday evening, March 28 at 5:00 in the basement of the Trigg County Primary Care building.
