Four people have been charged with trafficking synthetic drugs along with wanton endangerment after a large investigation in Hopkins Country.
According to a Madisonville police report, multiple tips and a controlled buy led them to get a search warrant for a Murray Street home on February 21st and found half a pound of synthetic marijuana in pre-packaged baggies.
During the search, a toddler was also found in the home within reach of the drugs, both occupants 40-year-old Joseph Kimbrew and 30-year-old Amber Davis were arrested.
On March 4th police executed a search warrant on Sugg Street and found multiple bags of synthetic marijuana, Adderall pills and a large amount of money, the occupants 37-year-old Dewayne Thompson and 34-year-old Crystal Miller were charged.
All four are charged with trafficking synthetic drugs, first-degree wanton endangerment, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Miller and Kimbrew also were charged with tampering with physical evidence.
Kimbrew also had a warrant for contempt of court and Miller was charged with second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
