Rotarians with the Hopkinsville Rotary Club are preparing for their biggest fundraiser of the year, which is less than 50 days away.
Rotary Auction Chair Trent Haddock says the goal for the Grillin’ Up Success auction is a little lower than in past years.

The auction has helped to support programs within the club since it’s inception in 1951.

According to Haddock, the auction will occur nightly between Monday, April 22 and Saturday, April 27, with the country store set up in the front part of the War Memorial Building through Wednesday.
He adds they will host a raffle throughout the week.

There are many other ways to donate to the auction, including the Hour Club. Haddock reports the cost to join the club is $174, which is the projected cost of one credit hour at Hopkinsville Community College for the fall 2019 semester.
Rotarians will spend the next several weeks reaching out to businesses throughout Hopkinsville and Christian County to collect items to sell at the auction. If you are interested in donating items for either the auction or country store and have not donated to the rotary club before, call their office at (270) 886-3034.
The auction can be viewed nightly on Spectrum Channel 376.
