A 20-year old man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck in Muhlenberg County Saturday morning.
Kentucky State Police Public Information Officer Trooper Rob Austin reports the wreck occurred shortly after 10:00 in the 4900 block of US Highway 62 West when Trevor Fleming of Drakesboro was driving westbound and his car ran off the shoulder of the road. He says the car hit a guardrail and then crashed into a tree. Fleming, who reportedly was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroner.
Austin says police are continuing to investigate the crash, and alcohol or drugs are considered a contributing factor in the crash.
