A Hopkinsville man and two women are charged after police reportedly found synthetic drugs in their motel room Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville police say 40-year-old Joseph Abron, 27-year-old Brittany Connell, and 21-year-old Jennifer Overton were found to have 13 grams of synthetic drugs and marijuana in a motel room at the Manhattan Inn on South Main Street.
Aborn was also found to have a green residue in his mouth and the smell of marijuana on his breath along with a glass pipe with a residue that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Overton and Connell are charged with possession of synthetic drugs. Aborn is charged with trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
Aborn is lodged at the Christian County Jail.
