Suspect In Robbery-Hopkinsville Officer Shooting Extradited Wednesday

Anthony Johnson

Two of three suspects arrested in Montgomery County in connection to the shooting of a Hopkinsville Police officer last month have been extradited back to Christian County.

Hopkinsville Police report 19-year old Anthony Johnson of Clarksville is lodged in the Christian County Jail on charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property under $10,000.

The charges stem from February 18 when Johnson, along with Keith Kuzyk, Autumn Neblett, and September Neblett, allegedly stole a truck at Walmart on Clinic Drive. Hopkinsville Police Officer Jeremy Davidson spotted the stolen vehicle and tried to make a traffic stop, but Kuzyk fled. Police said during the pursuit Kuzyk fired several rounds at Officer Davidson, hitting him in the arm and his head. Officer Davidson was taken to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville and was released the following day.

Autumn Neblett

All four suspects were in police custody within several hours of the shooting. Police reported Autumn Neblett was arrested in a dugout on the campus of University Heights Academy, while Kuzyk and the others were arrested in Montgomery County later that day.

September Neblett

Johnson, Autumn Neblett, and September Neblett are lodged in the Christian County Jail. Autumn and September Neblett are charged with first-degree robbery and receiving stolen property over $10,000. Autumn is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. September was extradited from Montgomery County to Christian County earlier this month.

Keith Kuzyk

Keith Kuyzk remains in the Montgomery County Jail. He is charged with two counts of attempted murder of a police officer, wanton endangerment, and several other offenses.
