A well-respected Christian County Agribusinessman is being remembered for many years of service to farmers and the agriculture community.
Funeral services are planned Saturday for Edwin Roeder of Herndon. Roeder was the owner and operator of Roeder Implement Company from 1964 to 2014.
Christian County Agriculture Extension Agent Matt Futtrell says Mr. Edwin Roeder will be missed by the agriculture community.

He adds many young lives were influenced through the 4-H classes and events that were sponsored by Mr. Edwin Roeder and Roeder Implement.

Edwin Roeder was a United States Army Veteran, where he served in the Korean War. Roeder was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hopkinsville. He is survived by three sons Delbert Roeder, Ronnie Roeder and Glenn Roeder, and their families. He is also survived by his brother Albert Roeder and his family.
