Hopkinsville Woman Charged After Children Were Found Unattended

A Hopkinsville woman was arrested on a warrant for two counts of second-degree wanton endangerment Wednesday after her two children were found unattended in a wood line.

Hopkinsville Police say on March 17th, 27-year-old Chianna Golden was located sleeping on a couch after police found her 2 and 4-year-old children walking in a wood line around Pardue Lane.

The 4-year-old reportedly led police back to the home where Golden was found with the smell of alcohol on her breath and told police she had been out all night and let the children play outside.

She is lodged at the Christian County Jail.
