Hopkinsville Traffic Stop Led To Gun And Drug Charges

A Tennessee man was charged with possession of drugs along with gun charges after a traffic stop in Hopkinsville Monday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 20-year-old Kameron Murray of Ceder Hill, Tennessee, was stopped on Dawson Springs Road for having a criminal summons and was reportedly found to have a handgun and marijuana.

The gun was found in the dashboard loaded with hollow point ammunition.

He is charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, using restricted ammunition during a felony (no shots), possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
