A Hopkinsville woman was charged after she reportedly assaulted her ex-girlfriend in a bathroom Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 25-year-old Ahgeana Bailey assaulted her ex-girlfriend in the bathroom of an Airport Road home while armed with a gun.
Bailey pointed the gun at multiple people in the home and threatened to kill them along with threatening to come back again later before fleeing in a vehicle.
As police arrived to investigate Bailey drove by and they were able to stop her.
The smell of drugs was reportedly detected by a K9 and as police searched the vehicle they found a handgun and an open bottle of alcohol.
During the arrest, Bailey started yelling at people in the neighborhood. On the way to the jail she reportedly threatened to kill a Hopkinsville police officer.
She is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a handgun by convicted felon, possession of a revoked license, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon, fourth-degree assault, possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, operating on a suspended or revoked license and three counts of terroristic threatening.
She is lodged in the Christian County Jail.
