April marks the beginning of the local tourism season across western Kentucky and Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism is gearing up for a fun-filled month.
Tourism Director Bill Stevens says the farmers market and the popular Junqe Fest both kickoff Saturday morning.
The popular Cadiz Cruz-in will begin Saturday afternoon and occur the first Saturday of each month through September.
Stevens notes the Cadiz Bluegrass Festival and Art in the Park will occur on Saturday, April 27. The event will bring several bluegrass bands to West Cadiz Park beginning at 10:00 AM.
He adds Trigg County will also host a Crappie USA tournament on the weekend of April 12 and 13 at the Lake Barkley Marina.
