A wreck on Central Avenue sent two people to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Jamal Howard said just after 6 p.m. a car driven by 21-year-old David Barbee of Hopkinsville was traveling northbound on College Street when he failed to stop at the intersection of Central Avenue.
Barbee’s vehicle hit an eastbound car driven by 20-year-old Kayla Knight of Hopkinsville who was on Central Avenue.
Barbee and Knight’s passenger 18-year-old Mckinzie Combs of Hopkinsville were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for face and head injuries.
Barbee was cited for failure to maintain insurance.
