CCHD Warns About Sexually Transmitted Diseases

The Christian County Health Department is raising awareness and educating the community about sexually transmitted diseases this month and offering training on administering Narcan® to opioid overdose victims.

Health Education Manager Amanda Bassingthwaite says April is STD Awareness Month. She adds the rate of sexually transmitted diseases in Christian County is high which is why they offer education about prevention as well as provide treatment.
