Two people were arrested for drug possession in Cadiz Monday evening.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office reports 20-year old Jack Scyphers of Cadiz and 31-year old Tiffany Finley of Paducah, were pulled over after an officer recognized Finley, who had a warrant for her arrest.
During a consented search of the vehicle, deputies reportedly found a bag that belonged to Finley which contained a small glass pipe with residue and a straw used to consume methamphetamine. Another small glass pipe was found in the glove box, which deputies say Scyphers admitted was used for meth.
Both were lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with 1st-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, with Finley additionally charged with failure to comply with drug court.
