A Hopkinsville man was arrested in a Trigg County church parking lot Monday morning.
According to a report from the Cadiz Police Department, two officers were dispatched to Cadiz Baptist Church for a vehicle blocking the driveway behind the church. Officers found 27-year old Jessie York asleep inside the vehicle. Upon contact with York, officers reportedly smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverages, with York admitting to drinking vodka earlier in the night. Field sobriety tests showed signs of impairment.
York was lodged in the Christian County Jail on 3rd-degree criminal trespassing, alcohol intoxication in a public place, and failure to notify of an address change.
