A Tennessee man was charged with trafficking synthetic drugs after a traffic stop on Canton Street Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 41-year-old Derek Williams after hearing shots fired in that area and found synthetic drugs under the driver seat.
No gun was found in his vehicle and police have not found any evidence that shots were actually fired.
