Attorney General Pleased With Pembroke Murder Indictment

Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear says he is pleased with the indictment of Christian Martin for the 2015 murders of three Pembroke residents.

Martin, who is a pilot for American’s PSA Airlines, was arrested at the Louisville International Airport Saturday morning and charged with the murders of Calvin and Pam Phillips and Ed Dansereau in November 2015.  Calvin Phillips was shot in his home on Main Street in Pembroke, with the bodies of Pam Phillps and Dansereau, who was the Phillip’s next door neighbor, found inside Pam Phillip’s burned vehicle in a cornfield off Rosetown Road.

In a video statement released Saturday on social media, Beshear says his office began working with investigators on the case more than two years ago.

Beshear thanked investigators for their hard work and cooperation.

Martin was listed as a person of interest in the murders from early in the investigation.  He lived across Main Street in Pembroke at the time the murders occurred.  He had since relocated to North Carolina and was working as a pilot for American Airline’s affiliated PSA Airlines as a First Officer on a Bombardier aircraft.
