A Hopkinsville woman was charged with burglary and escape after slipping out of handcuffs Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 47-year-old Idella Green forced her way into Claude Russell’s home on Hayes Street after being warned earlier in the day to stay away from the home.
Green was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and resisted arrest. After being arrested and put in a police cruiser she took her brace off her injured arm and slid her hand out of the handcuffs.
She is charged with third-degree escape, third-degree criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, and second-degree burglary.
