United States Senator Rand Paul and Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin were joined by a host of Republican statewide candidates and supporters for the Spring Fling at Casey Jones Distillery Saturday night.
Senator Paul said it is exciting to see the growth of the Republican party.
Governor Matt Bevin agreed, adding he feels good about his chances for re-election as he heads into the May 21 Primary Election.
On hand for the event were Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles, State Auditor Mike Harmon, and State Treasurer Allison Ball. A number of other statewide candidates were on hand that are running for Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General and Commissioner of Agriculture.
Also during the Spring Fling Roxane Thomas received the Marilyn Hays award for her service to the Christian County Republican Party and Dave Sturges was named Volunteer of the Year.
