Hopkinsville Electric System is planning a power outage for some residents Tuesday evening.
Officials report the outage will begin at 6:00 and could last up to 4 hours. The outage will affect portions of South Main Street, South Virginia Street, East and West 20th Street, and East 21st Street.
HES will be installing system upgrades for increased efficiency and reliability and apologizes to customers for the outage.
